Print Design – Miller Bridal Shower

Cookie tables are a long-running tradition that originated in Youngstown, Ohio. Natalie and Scott Miller met and grew their life together all because of Youngstown State University in Youngstown, Ohio. Cookie tables began when the economy crashed and steel mills in eastern Ohio area began closing. Due to the high cost of wedding cakes, families of the bride and groom would band together to make hundreds of cookies for the wedding guests. These took the place of the traditional wedding cake and guests were able to take a little box of cookies home with them. To bring a little of this Ohio tradition to the west coast the brides family had a cookie table and cookie themed shower for the bride. The bridal shower suite was designed around the tradition of cookie tables and where the bride and groom met and fell in love.

Above are the bridal shower invites along with a small insert to go with the invitations explaining the tradition of cookie tables.

Below is a sticker used for the cookie table bags along with a tag was tied to little gifts for the guests.
